The Eternity Series in summary
Because it's about time SOMEONE knew what was going on...

WARNING: ABSOLUTELY MASSIVE SPOILERS!

GATE
Novella
Main character/s: the Creator, Quinnten Colt.

A prequel to- but if ever published, to be released after- Eternity.
A Creator is a being with a mind so powerful they can manipulate the universe. They are not permitted (by a group of higher beings calling themselves 'the Council') to shape the world into which they are born, or to drastically effect the timelines of their or other realities, but are instead allowed to create a Reality of their own with which to do as they please (almost. there's a load of rules enforced by the Council, who have the power to destroy any Reality belonging to a rule-breaking Creator). Creators are so rare there are only ten known to exist throughout space and time, and they each have a Reality.
Gate follows the Creator of Reality One as a young girl, a few years after discovering she is a Creator and first creating Reality One. She's somewhere between six and eight years old.
While travelling in her unique way (since she lives in a time with no space travel she has developed the ability to travel only as conciousness) she meets a fifteen-year-old Quinnten Colt, an immortal she's close with as an adult in Eternity. The point of Gate is to explain the origins of their here-to mysterious relationship.
It is revealed that he is the eleventh Creator, but does not have a Reality. Instead, he uses 'Gates' (inter-dimensional portals) to travel the universe. The two come to enjoy each other's company and have several adventures together. The Creator has a crush on him, but it is nothing she cannot control. They're not romantic.
After a long period of what seems like a purely plutonic friendship, Colt kisses her and asks her to marry him. She is dumbfounded but rightly points out they're far too young to get married. He offers a compromise: he'll give her a ring and they'll have a pretend ceremony, and they can get properly married when they grow up if she wants to. She agrees, if he'll come to call her Reality home and look after it when they're not adventuring.
In the end, after their little ceremony, Colt appears at the bedside of her real self and gives her the ring for real.

THE ETERNITY NOVELS
Two-part series of novellas / graphic novellas
Main character/s: William Somerville, Anna Nero.
Also starring: Rosylynn Willac, Tanya Willac, Claire Nero, Liam Augustine, Alexander Hunter, Amanda Weathers.

A really shity highschool/college-based prequel to Eternity. It has potential if I completely overhaul it, as it shows the origins of Will and Anna's / Liam and Amanda's marriages, which are stories I would like to tell, just not in the Buffy-like teen-drama way I wrote it to begin with. Seriously, it is about the most awful piece of writing I have (second only to my attempt at a mafia themed comedy; what was I thinking?).
It'll either be an actual seperate little pair of novellas / graphic novellas in itself, or there will be some kind of flashback thing within Eternity.

ETERNITY
Series of about seven books, each with maybe fifteen chapters.
Main character/s: William Somerville
Also starring: the Creator, Anna Somerville, Liam Augustine, Amanda Augustine, Warren Lewis, Aidan 'the White Wolf', Rosalien Standson, Tristen, with further one-off individual chapters devoted to more minor characters.

The Creator is about ten now, but roughly sixty years have passed in Reality One since the events of Gate.
It begins with half-wolf/vampire Will's life being pretty darn perfect, until an ancient evil possesses his body and uses him to destroy all life in its path. It is only stopped when Will physically can't hurt his wife and daughter, and with the help of the Wolf Goddesses the demon (Aidan) is forced from his body.
After a long trauma-filled recovery, with most of the Reality now afraid of him, Will goes back to work and gets too involved with his manipulative bitch of a boss. Over the course of the series and a few affairs later, Will's marriage falls apart completely.
By the end of the series (it spans roughly a decade, maybe less) there is hope for Will and Anna yet, having spent a few years apart and sorting themselves out, but it is never known if they properly get back together (though it is hinted at in the sequels to Eternity).
During the series there are other chapters devoted to other characters, many big bad evils to defeat, everyone's kids grow up, there's more than one all-out war, and basically lots of morals and comments on humankind, spirituality, death and prejudice penned by yours truly.
The series ends with the Rathe War for Independence during which Tristen dies, followed by the Creator properly leaving Reality One after a tearful goodbye from William.

RAVENDALE
Either one massive novel, or something like two or three books, each with up to ten chapters. (You wouldn't think it from my artwork, but it is substantially shorter than Eternity)
Main character/s: Tristen, Kristien Somerville, Tallir, Kaleaco, Blain, Kristoph, Detra, Alice 'Aki' Renard.
Also starring: Max, Jay, the Creator, Mimic, Figuel, Dez, Danara Chase, Luca, other minor characters.

The Creator is in her teens.
Ravendale as a series came about when I discovered Eternity had moved on too much from William's generation and onto that of his kids. As such Ravendale follows directly on from the end of Eternity, and for the first few chapters takes place in Reality One, before the birth of the late Tristen's daughter brings everyone together and they move away to Ravendale.
For a few chapters we skip through Luca's early life up until she starts highschool. During this time Blain is half turned into a Fox Rathe in a plot to have her killed, but thanks to her Protectors (Jay, Detra and Kaleaco) he is stopped and put back in control of himself. Now a broody outcast, he must leave his friend Kristoph and his pack behind and learn to control his new powers.
Luca is made a diplomat between Reality One and the Rathe Realm, as she was destined to be. This new responsibility only makes her more curious about her father, and she longs for his advice.
She crafts and performs a ritual to summon his spirit so she may talk to him, but thanks to a gross mistranslation she ends up calling a Tristen from an alternate reality (where Danara and Detra had died, but not Tristen) two years into their future. Amanda works frantically to resolve the problem, but others from this new Tristen's reality begin to appear, and Amanda must call upon one of the oldest witches in existence to aid her- Aki.
The alternate Tristen reveals he is married to Kristien in his reality, and kisses our Kristien to prove she would have developed feelings for him had he lived.
At the highpoint of the spell-based chaos, a rift opens to yet another reality. Tristen must join with our heroes to defeat an evil other alternate Tristen named Krow'Varan (his uncle and aunt had raised him as royalty, having had both his parents killed for their treason instead of just his father).
The good alternates each have something to learn from/teach to their counterparts in Ravendale, and when the spell is undone everyone leaves the richer for the experience.
Aki gets sick of Kris and Tallir fighting all the time over race and swaps their species until they learn to get along. From this we discover Tallir has natural elemental talents, indicating he must be actually part wolf; Tallir goes on a journey into the desert to work on his powers and sees a vision of Deza, the first Rathe sorceress.
- a few more unimportant chapters with minor characters-
The alternate Tristen comes back to avert a war with the vampires. It involves a cull of vampires breaking the Treaty by killing humans, which he knows Kristien has done. Despite his uncle's attempts to kill her, Tristen (with Blain and Tallir's help) manages to keep her safe. After all the offending vampires have been despatched, Tristen discovers a missing weapon and races back to Ravendale just in time to prevent Kristien's suicide. He reveals to her she had actually killed herself in his reality, while pregnant with their son. She is moved by his story, and in their vulnerable state they end up in bed together. With nothing to go back to, Tristen stays with her, and after he helps her recover they eventually get married.
- further unimportant chapters with minor characters -
The series ends with Tallir engaged to his pregnant girlfriend Palowin, Figuel moving away with Karen, the Creator leaving with Mimic, and everyone moving on with their lives in general.

COMPANION
Novella
Main character/s: the Creator, Mimic

The Creator is now an adult. To take his mind off of his lost love Figuel, and to give her the intimate yet plutonic travelling companion she has so greatly desired, the Creator and Mimic travel space and time together similar to Gate in an effort to show she has come full circle, generally with lots of Mimic acting up and the Creator shouting at him.
Many grand adventures later, she finally gives him what he most desires. She takes him to a time after Figuel's wife has passed away and his kids have grown up and moved out, and rekindles their relationship. The series ends with Mimic and Figuel living together in Orkney and the Creator 'orbing' away into the sky.

WOLVES&DEMONS
This will most likely be a novel.
Main character/s: Ca'rran Somerville
Also starring: Palla, Elias, Holli, Blain, other minor characters and a few guest appearances from some familiar Ravendale faces.

Overlaps with the end of Companion, in that the party where the Creator re-introduces Mimic to Figuel takes place in the second/third chapter of Wolves&Demons.
It is still set in Ravendale House, but about thirty years after the events of Ravendale.
Tristen and Kristien's son Ca'rran moves into Ravendale in an attempt to be more independent, united with his half sister Luca, her twin half-brothers Michael and Johnathan, Aki's daughter Tiffany, Jay's son Panthern, Kaleaco's son Holli, Detra's son Elias, and others.
The story mainly follows Ca'rran's journey from a shy, unsure, awkward, and slightly fat young man, into a strong, confident, independent character full of his parent's charm and wit. His romantic interest for the series is Tallir's daughter Palla. The two connect instantly as friends, and over time it becomes more, even though Ca'rran has thought her stunning since he first saw her.
Another big plot element involves an aggressive on-going rivalry between best friends Elias and Holli over a girl, among other differences and disputes, culminating in the inexperienced young people having to work together to defeat a big baddie.
Four of Kagomay's puppies will show up (immortals), but there is dispute amongst them as to whom are Jamie's kids and whom are Donalbain's. There will be some friction between the brothers.
One of them ends up dating a vampiress called Violet whom, as time goes on, will be revealed to be the Creator. After leaving Mimic she went wandering and ended up fronting a band in the Rathe Realm as Violet. There is much confusion and awkwardness after she reveals herself, and she must eventually leave her lover as she always does.
His sister meanwhile starts secretly sleeping with Jonathan, but avoids any kind of relationship with him. their shared friend Palla is the only one who knows and helps to keep them secret and settle their disputes. Michael meanwhile gets jealous because he suspects Jon is seeing Palla, and starts to get obsessive and aggressive over it, until eventually the truth must come out.
The story ends and all's well, with everyone having grown and set aside their differences in true Ravendale style. I don't want to pair everyone off like I did in Ravendale, I'd rather leave it very open, like we're looking at these characters about to embark on the rest of their lives, whether it is a new relationship, or starting university, or moving out to make a living for themselves. I want to really capture the time I'm sitting at myself, a time of unknowns and uncertainty, but also of strong bonds of friendship and hope for the future, to end the series on a youthful note.

NEW AGE
graphic novella
Main character/s: James
Also starring: maybe the Creator but probably not

I say "end the series"...
So, I really don't want to make this, I want to end on wolves & demons, but it's still a vague idea in my head. It's kind of like the Eternity novels where, yes it happens, but no we don't really need it published.
The graphic novella would star the Creator and Mimic's son, James. Presumably she was pregnant when she re-introduced Mimic to Figuel. Maybe she didn't want Mimic tied to her like that, and knew his place was elsewhere with his love. Maybe she even had James during Companion and the pair agreed it was best he was raised elsewhere and gave him up for adoption. But in any case, James does not know his parents, though he knows who/what they were.
James is a deliciously dark character and I love him, which makes it hard to totally dismiss this idea even though I know I need to (Eternity has to end SOME TIME). He is the son of a power-hungry shape-shifting psychopath and a being who can literally bend the universe to her will; he is going to be dark and awesome. I would want him to have nearly unlimited power at his disposal, but have his body not quite able to deal with it. He would 'orb' travel, but physically, like the Creator does to Mimic in Companion, but it does take its toll. All I can see clearly in my head is him claiming and terraforming some lifeless planet rather than make his own reality. His powers weaken his physical form, but he is capable of huge feats of power...

And that's it! Hope you've enjoyed my laying this bag of snakes all out straight for ya.
it's about time is was all laid out flat! XD enjoy.
